The Great American Foot Race
In 1928, 200 runner's entered a race across America to help promote Route 66. They ran about 40 miles per day. The race took 84 days. Andy Payne (above left) finished in 573h.04m.34s... that's about 3422 10-minute miles, in a row! Here's the SITE with all the info.
